First Case of Avian Influenza in Greece

Experts from the University of Athens detected antibodies against H5N1 in a turkey. Confirmation of the case by the European Laboratory for avian influenza has been initiated. Meanwhile, quarantine has been put in place over the island "Oinousses", nearby the Turkish coast.
